Hello Salt Lake IMA-
We received the following email from a colleague at Westminster College. If you have the time, please click the link below and complete the survey!
I am an accounting instructor at Weber State University in Ogden, UT. My colleagues and I are conducting a survey about accounting professionals’ perceptions on the policy of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). Under BYOD, employees bring their own devices for work. According to a survey conducted by Dell and Intel, more than half of the employees are authorized to use personal devices at work. For companies without BYOD policy, 43% of the employees use their personal devices without their employers’ knowledge.
I noticed that you are the membership VP for IMA chapter in Salt Lake City We wonder if it is possible for us to distribute the survey to the members. Perspectives from IMA members will provide us with valuable insights on what management should consider when thinking about adopting BYOD policy.
Here is a copy of the survey:
Thank you very much for your time.
